The first annual membership fee is paid along with the registration fee and covers a period of one year from the date of registration as well as the use of the services provided during this period.

The services provided in each category are consumed within the time of the membership and are not transferred to a later period. Exceeding the covered services of the category implies the transition to the next category.

Each subsequent annual membership fee is paid no later than the expiration date of the previous one.

Each annual subscription for Global Company Prefix covers up to 100,000 GTINs.

Any additional membership fee for GS1 Company Prefix is estimated under the Basic category, reduced by 30%.

Variable Measurement and Coupon Numbers are free of charge. Prerequisite for their allocation is the previous allocation of GS1 Company Prefix and GLN, respectively.
Explanations and additional information
Registration Fee
The Registration fee is paid upon the initial registration or re-registration of a member and applies to both Regular and Associate members.
Regular and Associate Members
Regular members are legal entities of Public or Private law, companies and organisations interested in using GS1 standards and services.
Associate members are legal entities of Public or Private law, companies and organisations who do not necessarily use GS1 standards and services but because of their sector of occupation they are interested in participating in the Associations activities.
Registration
- The first annual membership fee is paid along with the registration fee and covers a period of one year from the date of registration as well as the use of the services provided during this period.
- Each subsequent annual membership fee is paid no later than the expiration date of the previous one.
- The annual membership is due for as long as the user retains membership, regardless of the actual use of barcodes.
- If a member no longer requires the use of barcodes or GS1 services in general, it can request for its resignation in writing.
- Each annual subscription for Global Company Prefix covers up to 100,000 GTINs. Η έκδοση επιπλέον κωδικών προϋποθέτει πρόσθετη ετήσια συνδρομή.
- Any additional membership fee for GS1 Company Prefix is estimated under the Basic category, reduced by 30%.

Membership Plans Basic | Advanced | Premium
- The choice of membership plans regards Regular members.
- All membership plans (Basic, Advanced and Premium) with each annual subscription for Global Company Prefix cover up to 100,000 GTINs. The GTINs are issued gradually depending on the needs of each member.
- Provided services are renewed annually and do not transfer to the subsequent period.
